Evening all. I am watching the match, as noted in the last two posts. So let me get on with this quickly. Since I last posted my son has been as cheeky and as charming as ever, and by daughter keeps on asking about new things as she soaks up as much as she can at school and at home.
Today was paperwork day. My job here is much harder than where I worked before. More paperwork, as well as more clinical work. But, I am happier here. Which does not mean that I did not like my old job. It was just that the team which I worked with as one that I felt was not working well together. I hope they are working better now that I have left. And of course, the other plus side about not being there was that it was just outside Ipswich, which meant that I would have got a lot more stick for the result when Ipswich beat Arsenal in the first leg of the league cup semi-final.
But back to non-football things. Today, woke up early. Went to work. My wife, who is ill with flu like symptoms, got the kids ready and I came back from the mountain of paperwork that I have to take my daughter to school, and my son to pre-school. It was great taking them. We walked in, and then after my daughter went in, I got to take my son to pre-school. Went to work, came back for lunch, picked my son up first of course. Then back to work. And then back home, to collect my daughter. I am lucky to be able to spend this much time with the kids. I know that there are many who do not get to spend time with them, and while all kids are going to be naughty from time to time, my two kids are really well behaved. And of course, charming. My son, on the way from my daughters school to his pre-school held the hand of one of the other mothers who live down the road, deciding that she was female, and therefore was there to be charmed. At times, I think that he has had to step up in cuteness as his sister is so amazing. And with the two of them getting on so well together, being with both of them is amazing. Mind you, being with just one of them is brilliant as well! He has started to change the say he talks to me wife as he has realised that there are ways of saying things that make my wife more likely to say yes.
It is nice to hear my wife say that, as I know that she says things in a certain way to get me to do things. I know this as once she admitted to doing so. When or how she does it, I have no idea. But it is nice to have it being used on her my my son, who has her eyes.
I might have a rant on politics later. After all, there has been loads to comment on. But I think that I will leave that for another time.
I have to go. Half time. Leeds have pulled a goal back just before half time. Fingers crossed that the Arsenal will win. Hope the rest of the post below brings a smile to your face. And that you like the video below.

Well, let me try that again...
A draw at home to Leeds (and I thought we played well in that game) and a loss away to Ipswich.
At least we are still in with a chance for now.
While 'the' match is on tonight, I will try to post about the kids.
