Rob Earnshaws shot against England just landed in my back garden.

Of course, the title post is a reference to the game where we (England) were lucky to beat Wales.

Anyway, time to post about the kids.

Let me start last week, on Wednesday.  Then we took them to Legoland.  They loved it.  They did not know that they were to go there, so it was a surprise for them which was kept until they arrived in the grounds.  And they loved it.  I did not get them to go on the roller coasters (that is my plan for the next time...) but they loved it as did my wife and I.

Last weekend, I had a course in London, and we were to meet a friend there afterwards, which he had tried to arrange ages ago.  It turned out the course was very close to were he wanted to meet up, which was great.  It was brilliant to see him, though my kids thought that he was me from the back!

And this week has been by daughters first week back at school.  Now she is out of her foundation year, she has less playtime and is being worked harder.  She has realised that life this year is not going to be as much fun as it was last year.  Mind you, while school was fun for her last year, life for my wife and I was a bit stressful.  With my change of job, and the initial pay cut, life was hard for my wife and I.  Dealing with the pay cut involved me working agency work most weekends which was hard for my wife as well.  But she was amazing, and I am sure that my daughter will be as well this year.

Anyway, have a look at some video's from two X-Factor contestants.
