Seriously? Why should anyone trust Trump when it comes to negotiations?
The current war with Iran happened despite a breakthrough in negotiations between the USA and Iran.
Since being elected for the second time, Trump imposed tariffs on Canada, despite negotiating a trade deal in his first term in office. This apparently was because the first deal was terrible!
The UK negotiated a trade deal with Trump in May 2025, only for Trump to go back on it less than a year later.
There are numerous other examples where Trump has decided not to stick to deals he agreed on, which basically means that there are numerous examples of where he cannot be trusted.
