Pokémon and Bluewater

Again, it is time for a post from my son

My day was just amazing- until the time of me writing a blog post 😭

After I woke up I found out that in Pokemon GO there is now a professor’s challenge and if you collect all the stamps you catch a legendary Pokemon or an invisible Mew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Afterwards we went on a perilous quest to Bluewater and went to the cinema to watch the film A Wrinkle in time! It was a bit scary when the cute, intelligent brother turned evil, but it all ended happy ever after.

Today I went to Waterstones where I looked up Pokémon cards I bought a shiny Darkrai GX box. It contains 4 Shining Legends booster packs a non-promo jumbo and normal shiny Darkrai GX .

Then we went to YO! Sushi where I ate 5 whole plates ! I mainly ate sushi and I thought I might explode/implode . Then I went trampoline bungee jumping.

And now for my recollection...

In the morning, while I was giving my son a massage, we watched Blackadder.  Our aim, well mine, was to travel to Hendon to visit the museum there, an important time to go considering the RAF is 100 years old.  But, we did not do so.  Instead, after a discussion on the way, we ended up going to Bluewater to watch a film and do some shopping.  As my son has mentioned, we watched A Wrinkle In Time, which was a good film.  At times, it moved too fast and this meant that the film did not flow properly, but it was great to watch.  Following this, it was lunch at Yo Sushi, we had not eaten there in a while and we all loved our return there.  My son had loads of fun playing Pokémon and also getting some cards, and I was very impressed at how much he walked.  He is hoping to #FindMew, and I wish him good luck in this quest.

Nerf Friday

My son got into a bit of trouble last week, and one of the ways he is to redeem himself, is to make a blog entry every day of the holiday.  I do not think that this is good enough, but this is his entry for the day (with a few minor edits).

Today I went to both sets of grandparents.

My grandmother on my fathers side we went to 1st. She gave me a stick of rock because she was by the seaside last weekend🌅 which meant she ate some ice cream 🍦

Afterwards we went to my other grandparents and watched a hour and a half documentary about their 50th wedding anniversary🎉.

In the morning, I had to go to work.  It was bin day and I had hoped to cycle into work, but this was not to be the case.  Instead, my wife drove me there, but I sadly arrived at work later than I would have got there if I had cycled there, this being due to the children having to get ready as well.

After work, I found that they had been out and about to get some lunch from Brightlingsea which we ate at home, before the children and I had a NERF gun fight.  Which I won obviously, though at the end, my daughter stole what bullets of mine that she could find (I am going to have to hide others in more than one place).  After this, we drove to see my mother, a terrible drive thanks to the rain, and now we are at my mother and father-in-laws.

Good night all!

Today was the last day of the spring term.

Another post by my son...

Today in the morning we did PE which is physical education. In PE we played diamond cricket and I finally got to bat twice. Soon after that I found out what part I am playing a knight in the class play, Macbeth. In the afternoon we watched a film! It was Despicable Me three it was with the other class in the year and everyone was laughing.

So Jeremy Corbyn is criticised for not doing enough against anti-semitism. Let's look and see, shall we?

This was copied and pasted from someone I know on Facebook.

1990 - Signed a motion condemning the publication of anti-semitic materials in the UK
2003 - Signed a motion condemning attacks on two synagogs
2009 - Signed a motion condemning the publication of anti-semitic material on the internet.
2010 - Signed a motion praising Jewish News for investigating anti-semitism on Facebook
2010 - Praises the then Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin for his efforts to secure a two-state solution to the Israeli/Arab conflict.
2012 - Condemns the BBC for cutting a Jewish made programme for the Jewish community.
2013 - Signed a motion condemning anti-semitism in sport.
2014 - Signed a motion commemorating the holocaust and genocide of the Jewish people during WW2.
2015 - Praises The London Jewish Forum for standing up to racists marches through their community.

Throughout Jeremy Corbyns career he has constantly fought against and condemned anti-semitism including within the Labour Party.

My only concern on this is that the report into anti-semitism by Shami Chakrabarti has not been fully enacted.

Anyway, if we are to blame Jews for things, shall we blame them for the following?
The invention of lasers.
Pacemakers and defibrillators.
Stainless steel.
There are other things as well. It is strange that extremists blame all Jews for the actions of a minority, but then most people understand that I do not like extremists.

Pokémon & Bulbasaur community day, a blog post by my son

Today was Bulbasaur community day. First of all today was Sunday the 25th. Community day on Pokémon GO is when a Pokémon appears more frequently. You also get shiny Pokémon which are much rarer and here are some images.

Today we walked into Castle Park when when we were walking I caught a shiny Bulbasaur, my father however did not. He was very annoyed since he did not get one at that point. The walk was quite long as my father kept on annoying me

When we got into Castle Park I got another shiny. I saw quite a few are the children. The adults did not get as many Chinese as children seem to. I had got 100 Bulbasaur candy which meant I could of of a powerful Ibiza. My father persuaded me to save my candy so then I saved 125 candy and a vault are powerful shiny. I was ecstatic since my father had not got one shiny. I battle the gym at Castle Park and put my shiny Venus saw. Afterwards my father finally caught shiny at the end I had six shiny Pokemon and my father only had three. I kept on rubbing it in his face as it was very funny

Why I think that Jeremy Corbyn is right about Sergei Skripal and Yulia Skripal

Like all in Parliament, I think that the attack on Sergei Skripal and Yulia Skripal is appalling.  Like many, I feel that Russia is probably behind this attack.  A surprising number of people who have worked against Putin have died, some of these deaths have been obvious assassinations, others not so.

However, the issue of if this was carried out by the Russian state, or if Russia lost some of the nerve agents it has produced has been discussed in Parliament.  Russia has asked for a sample of the nerve agent as well as time to answer the claims.  And while I do not trust Russia to be honest, there is the possibility that they are innocent in his matter.

But, I do think that this needs to be looked at properly.  Many nations in the west are dependent upon Russian gas and due to this, may not be too keen on sanctions. Also, it has been alleged that, the US president has a reason to trust Russia, though those allegations may be false.

In PMQ's, Corbyn has been castigated for wanting to take a more cautions approach on this matter, but it is only by showing that we are taking appropriate care in the investigation into this, that we can get the west to back us up.  And if we do not, more critics of Putin who live abroad will continue to die in strange circumstances.

And then it was gone

The snow has almost gone which means that the children should be back to school tomorrow. They were essentially off over Thursday and Friday, though my daughter did have school for a few hours on Thursday. And while there was a lot of snow yesterday, which meant no cycling for me then, it was clearing and today most of it has gone here.  What we did though yesterday was to have another snowball fight.  And once again, both kids ganged up on me.  Due to the weather, the snow was more compact compared to what it had been before, which meant that the snowballs were easier to make, and travelled further.  And yes, both kids got me in the face again.

Today we did go for a walk in Castle Park and this involved a walk down a very ice ridden path. My son was not too keen on this, but to be fair to him, he did what his sister wanted, which was to walk down the path.  She in turn let us spend some time to do a Pokémon go raid, something she appears to hate now.

Anyway, the kids are in bed, and now I have to sleep after watching the final episode of Requiem.
